REVERSE OSMOSIS DEMINERALISATION PLANTS

Tecn.A. builds reverse osmosis plants for the demineralisation of water. Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a high pressure membrane process used for DEMINERALIZED WATER PRODUCTION, as an alternative to traditional demineralisation plants with ion exchange resins.

In fact, compared to ion exchange resin plants, REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANTS have the following advantages:

• Lower running costs
• No use of chemicals (no need for regeneration with acid and soda)
• High process reliability
• Total removal of organic matter
• Removal of all micro-organisms (bacteriologically pure water)

DESALINATION PLANTS

An important application of Reverse Osmosis is that of SEA WATER DESALINATION, for which seawater type membranes and materials compatible with the salt aggression of water (special steels) are used.
